Reese make-up tips - ( M4L4YS14 )

Reese Witherspoon make-up artist has shown how to achieve her latest look.

The actress has nailed the fresh faced, polished look and always looks natural when she steps on to the red carpet.

Reece’s make-up artist Mai Quynh reveals how she achieved Reese’s look at the Toronto International Film Festival screening of her movie Devil’s Knot.

The Hollywood make-up artist relies heavily on Laura Mercier products and used much of her range for Reese’s latest look.

“I prepped the skin with Laura Mercier Moisture Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen Normal/Combination and then used my fingers to apply Laura Mercier Foundation Primer all over the face.

“Next was [a foundation] which I used with a sponge to ensure the make-up stayed in place before applying the [a translucent powder],” she explained to America’s OK magazine.

Next up she used a red lip pencil teamed with a tangerine lipstick to create a bold pout.

Lastly Reese’s blue eyes were given some sparkle to make them stand out.

“I used the Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Sand Glow to eyelids. Sweep it from the lash line to the crease, and then blend upwards. I used the Illuminating Eye Colour in Fire Glow on the crease of the eyes and faded the colour up towards the brow bone.

“Then I blended both together with the smudge brush,” she said.

The artist suggesting adding a dark brown shade to the lash line to make things more dramatic and filling in eyebrows with a matching pencil.

Reese wore her hair loose and to one side, with a plunging Jason Wu dress and Jimmy Choo shoes to finish the look off.
