David Beckham apparently realises there’s been a “power shift” between him and Victoria.
The sports star and his designer wife moved to the UK from Los Angeles with their four children earlier this year.
While Victoria is focusing on her fashion career, David has retired from soccer and is now realising how much he wants to give back to his family.
“Since David hung up his boots he’s been able to focus more on his family and realises now, more than ever, what a support Victoria has been,” a source told British magazine Star.
“There’s been a real power shift in their relationship and he wants Vic to know that he’ll be there for her in the same way.”
David showed how he felt recently by adding a tattoo of Victoria’s name to his already heavily inked body.
The art on his hand came as a surprise to the brunette, who apparently loves it.
“Victoria’s made it clear that she thinks David’s got enough tattoos already but, of course, she’s thrilled by the gesture,” the insider smiled.
“It’s brought them closer than ever. People are saying it’s like when they first fell in love.”
Victoria is planning to open her first store in London and David still has plenty promotional deals.
According to the magazine, the tattoo is to remind them of the pressure they’ve handled throughout their careers.
“It shows how strong they are as a couple and how David feels Victoria will always be his number one,” the source finished.
