Paul Wesley is reportedly dating his former The Vampire Diaries co-star.
The American actor divorced from his wife of two years, Torrey DeVitto, in June.
However Us Weekly reports Paul is already moving on from their split and has been spotting getting cosy with Phoebe Tonkin, who he starred alongside in the supernatural TV drama before she left in May.
The pair are said to have gone out for dinner together last Saturday and joined fellow celeb couple Ben McKenzie and Shelley Hennig at Soho House restaurant.
“[They were] on a double date with Ben McKenzie and Shelley Hennig,” an eyewitness revealed. “It looked like Paul and Phoebe might have set Ben up with Shelley – seemed like a first date.”
Paul was reportedly happy to show affection towards the 24-year-old beauty. They were even said to be comfortable locking lips in the busy restaurant, while surrounded by onlookers.
“Paul and Phoebe were 100 per cent romantic – they were across the table from Ben all cosied up on the couch kissing each other,” the source added. “She had her head on his chest.”
While Paul may be newly single, he and ex Torrey are thought to have “amicably split”. The former couple met in 2007 before tying the knot in April 2011.
“They will continue to remain good friends,” their representatives confirmed to People.com at the time.
The 31-year-old actor previously spoke about how working with Torrey helped their marriage remain secure. Torrey landed the role of Dr. Meredith Fell in The Vampire Diaries the same year they wed.
“It’s fantastic because otherwise we’d be 2000 miles away, Los Angeles and Georgia, so it’s very nice to be in the same geographical location,” Paul told Glow magazine in December 2012.
