Kristen Stewart appears to be losing her hair after splitting from Robert Pattinson.
The Twilight stars called time on their three-year relationship in May following Kristen’s infidelity with married director Rupert Sanders in 2012.
The 23-year-old actress is currently in Berlin, Germany, with friends while filming Sils Maria. Despite seeming in good spirits there was a noticeable patch of her locks missing as she strolled around the city. It is thought the hair loss is due to anxiety from the break-up.
“Kristen’s circle are so concerned about her that two of her friends have flown to Germany to see her,” an insider told UK’s Now magazine. “They want to take her to a de-stressing yoga retreat on the outskirts of Berlin.”
The brunette’s close pals are said to have tried to contact the Water for Elephants actor but he has yet to respond.
The 27-year-old heartthrob has recently been linked to Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough, who Kristen starred alongside in 2012 film The Runaways.
“[Her friends have] also begged Rob to visit her on set,” the source added. “They fear the stress is getting worse because she’s been trying to make contact with him and he’s ignoring all of her calls.”
It was recently reported the British star “understands” why Kristen cheated on him. It is thought he believes she worried about getting close after her own parents divorced last year.
“Rob is well aware of why Kristen cheated on him. He understands that it wasn’t because of a lack of love. It was more so a fear of intimacy on Kristen’s part. Everyone takes on different experiences from their upbringings,” a source previously told HollywoodLife.com.
